Review: Sucker Punch

A young girl is institutionalized by her abusive stepfather. Retreating to an alternative reality as a coping strategy, she envisions a plan which will help her escape from the mental facility.This movie is full of awesome cinematography, camera work and visual-effects.Baby Doll is the protagonist of the movie.After the death of her mother under suspicious circumstances Baby Doll's stepfather tries to murder the two heiress' to usurp the wealth held by the family.Baby Doll tries to fight back but her little sister gets killed in struggle and Baby Doll gets framed and institutionalized for criminal insanity.In the mental institution she meets four other girls: Sweet Pea,Blondie,Rocket,Amber.There under observed play therapy she escapes into a world with the other girls to plan an escape from the asylum.The movie is filled with fast paced soundtrack,a riveting storyline and teenage-rated action scenes.The movie can be poetic and also dramatic.The movie is filled with mature themes so i would advise this mopvie for age groups 15+.
